Programs by age

6 weeks+

Infant Care

Infants settle into their own space, apart from the older children, with their own play area. Days follow each baby's own rhythm for feeding and sleeping rather than a group schedule. Teachers hold, talk to, and play with babies through the day. Ask us what you should pack and how we handle your baby's routine.

Young Toddler Care

Young toddlers are just steady on their feet, so the room leaves open floor for pushing, squatting, and carrying things from one place to another. They practice words, stack and knock down, and sit at a low table for meals. They stay in their own play area, away from the bigger children.

Older Toddler Care

Older toddlers move fast, so we give them room for it. They have their own play area, separate from the older children, and it keeps them safer. Outdoors they climb on the equipment and ride the track. Indoors they sort, build, and start to play beside each other instead of alone.

A young child with short blond hair and a white shirt smiles with hands placed on either side of their head against a yellow background.

Preschool Care

Preschoolers work on puzzles, art, and pretend play that runs longer than a few minutes. Teachers read aloud, ask questions, and let children answer in full sentences. The food is already here: hot breakfast, lunch, and two snacks. Ask what your child needs to bring.

Kindergarten Care

Kindergarten children get off the bus and into a stretch of their own before pickup. They have snack, then choose from quiet activities and active play. Teachers know what the school day asked of them, and we keep the afternoons calmer for it.

School Age Before and After School Care

Two full-size school buses bring children to us and take them back to York Haven Elementary, Newberry Elementary, Red Mill Elementary, and Fishing Creek Elementary. Children get breakfast if they arrive early and a snack after school. Then there is time to play before pickup.

Summer Program / Summer Camp

Field Trips are not just to parks, but to special places you would like to take your child if you had the Summer off. These field trips cost us between $40 and $50 per week per child (admission fees, parking, diesel, tolls, etc.) and are included in our low Summer Program rate of $195 per week.
