The room your child would join
You walk into the room your child would join. The shelves hold the materials children use that day, not a display. If the weather is decent, step outside and look at the play space.
The teachers
You meet the teacher who runs the room. Ask how the day is paced—play, meals, rest, outside time. Ask how they handle the first weeks, when a child is still learning the routine.
Your questions
Ask about hours, meals, pickup, and tuition. Write your questions down before you come. If we do not know an answer on the spot, we follow up with you.
Before you come
We are open Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and we care for children from 6 weeks old to 12 years old. Bring your child along if you can. A visit works best when they see the room and meet the teacher themselves.
Ask how pickup works and what meals are served. Ask about rest time and how the first weeks are handled. Ask how you will hear about your child's day, and what happens if they get sick. Write the answers down.
